2025 - The East Woodstock Cornet Band

The East Woodstock Cornet Band was founded by a joint Resolution of the Connecticut House of Representatives in 1893 and has performed throughout northeastern Connecticut since that time. Performances are sponsored by local organizations and are free and open to the public. Each year the band has marched in regional Memorial Day and 4th of July parades, played outdoor concerts in Woodstock and surrounding towns, and provided music on stage for the Woodstock Fair on Labor Day weekend.

The band has 35 or more members ranging from school age to retirees.  Musicians with three or more years of band performance experience are welcome to join. The band has scheduled rehearsals from 6:30 to 8:30 on Sunday evenings at the East Woodstock Congregational Church, with this years first rehearsal on Sunday, March 9th.
